What is the Tech Boost funding?

Tech Boost is a zero-interest loan provided by Tamwilcom through IMPACT Lab, exclusively for startups selected into the Boost’in Gaming program. This funding aims to support innovative Moroccan gaming studios in scaling their product and preparing for market entry.

Startups that successfully complete the selection bootcamp will have the opportunity to apply for Tech Boost. After review by the selection committee, eligible startups will gain access to the loan and enter the pre-acceleration phase under approved conditions.

Key features of the honorary loan :

Up to 500,000 MAD per project — with potential extension up to 750,000 MAD for startups holding a patent-protected innovation.

Funding eligible for innovation deployment — including costs related to launching your game on the market and acquiring first users.

20% co-financing required — startups must commit at least 20% of the total investment upfront before Tech Boost funds are released.

Flexible repayment terms — up to 5 years, with 2 years of deferred repayment to give startups the time to grow.

Who can apply?

Boost’in Gaming is open to ambitious Moroccan startups pushing the boundaries of gaming innovation. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Legally registered in Morocco

Your company must be a Moroccan legal entity, with shareholders residing in Morocco.

Operating in the gaming industry

Eligible startups must be actively developing games or innovative solutions within the gaming ecosystem.

Less than 5 years old

Only companies registered within the last 5 years (from their Commercial Register date) can apply.

04

Innovative project

Your game or solution must show clear innovation — whether it’s in technology, design, business model, or market approach.

Playable MVP or functional demo

Applicants must have a playable MVP or functional demo that offers at least 30 minutes of gameplay or user experience.

How to apply?

To apply for Boost’in Gaming, startups must submit a complete application via the VC4A platform by May 25, 2025. The application should include a detailed form describing the startup and project, a pitch video, founders’ CVs and IDs, company statutes, commercial registration, and any relevant patents.

Applications may be submitted in Arabic, French, or English. Only one application per company will be accepted, and only complete applications submitted through the platform will be reviewed.
